Small Group Sunset and Stargazing in Mt Teide
Tenerife is famous for many things, but this is one of the best! Experience the natural beauty of the night sky-high above the highest volcano in Europe. During this stargazing trip, you will travel to the crater of Mount Teide at night and experience the magic of what the unspoiled night sky of Tenerife has to offer. Not only will you see 83 out of 86-star constellations during our stargazing trip, but you will literally watch the stars fall around you.
We will collect you from your hotel in the south of Tenerife, take you up the volcano and stop to watch the sunset at a picnic area, where we will serve some local tapas, beer & wine all produced and made in the Canary Islands. Our guide, Be, will give you an amazing bulk of information regarding the island, astronomy and a few suprises. Once the sun goes down, the astronomy tour will begin & there is a telescope for you to use.
Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy.
