The tour was... read moreWe went at 9:30 since we heard that the animals are more active earlier in the day. The tour was almost private, there were five of us in total, including the captain which was very knowledge and nice. We had been sailing for probably 20 minutes when we saw some bottlenose dolphins and one of them even came up to the boat. As we continued we spotted a turtle but it disappeared rather quickly. Then we sailed to a known pilot whales area where we stopped for a while and spotted around 10 whales. Finally we sailed to a bay, on our way there we saw some more dolphins. There we stopped for drinks and sandwiches, stayed there for 30 minutes and then returned back, very happy with the amount of animals spotted.Side note: even though it's warm outside, make sure to bring something warm with you because it gets cold when sailing. read less

She rang the company that actually runs the trip, because, although the volcano had stopped, she advised that it was always best to check the latest details. There isn´t a pick-up service for this excursion so she gave us the number of the local taxi firm and full details of where to go. Would book through them again read less
