Description

3h Whale Watching Excursion in Costa Adeje

The 3-hour catamaran boat sails every day, searching for whales and dolphins in the coastal area of Costa Adeje. On this Dolphin and Whale watching Tour, the catamaran crew will inform you about the characteristics of the cetacean species in their natural environment. You’ll learn about their species, food migrations etc. After observing the cetaceans, you can relax, sunbathe, or take a swim in the warm Atlantic Ocean. Finally return to Puerto Colon.

You’ll almost certainly get to see pilot whales on your boat trip. They inhabit the warm waters around the boat, maximising the likelihood that you’ll spot them. You may even get lucky and spot some bigger whales, dolphins, or turtles too.

Please note: Sunbeds are extra and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sunbeds 7.50 euro per person on 3H trip  (however, they are double beds and they can not be separated, therefore 15€ per bed which is a double bed)

Adult (13 years old and above): €47

Child (5-12 years old): €23.50

Whales and dolphins, whales and dolphins….yeah! Got off to a slow start and was concerned we may not see anything. We saw lots of pilot whales, whole families plus babies. There were dolphins too, swimming with the whales. To top it off we saw a turtle. The swim at the end was great, so refreshing g. Captain and mate were great and friends made with the rest of the boat. Only a small group so we didn’t miss anything. Would recommend

Smooth booking experience with knowledgeable staff! We were enjoying a drink at chill box in PDLA when we saw Tenerife First Excursions next door. Before we went on holiday we knew we wanted to use this company after seeing videos online and all the great feedback they had. We were more determined to use them after we checked into our hotel and the receptionist told us to be aware of a lot of ‘scam’ excursion companies out there. We started speaking to Lorena and she asked if we had any trips planned. We wanted to go to Loro Parque but with it being the other side of the island we weren’t sure how to get there. We looked on our TUI excursions and it said you have to make your own way there and it was ticket price only, so we almost gave it a miss. When we spoke to Lorena she informed me that she could book transfers for us for only €20.50pp. Which is minimal compared to what the taxi fare would of been to go to the other side of the island. I went into the office, booked the excursion all within around 5/10 mins. She printed off all of our tickets and sent a digital version to my phone incase I lost the paper. She then circled on the map where our pick up point was for the transfer and gave me it so we knew exactly where to go. All in all it was just such an easy and smooth experience and will 100% only use Tenerife First Excursions when we go back one day. Loro Parque was amazing as well by the way and definitely worth the 1.5 hour transfer 100000%.

A company that actual cares you have a good time. Rented a car, book the Stargazing and Kayaking to see the dolphins from Daniel. All went smoothly. Two amazing experiences that will last long in the memory. I'll be booking again with Tenerife First.

Amazing experience We went at 9:30 since we heard that the animals are more active earlier in the day. The tour was almost private, there were five of us in total, including the captain which was very knowledge and nice. We had been sailing for probably 20 minutes when we saw some bottlenose dolphins and one of them even came up to the boat. As we continued we spotted a turtle but it disappeared rather quickly. Then we sailed to a known pilot whales area where we stopped for a while and spotted around 10 whales. Finally we sailed to a bay, on our way there we saw some more dolphins. There we stopped for drinks and sandwiches, stayed there for 30 minutes and then returned back, very happy with the amount of animals spotted.Side note: even though it's warm outside, make sure to bring something warm with you because it gets cold when sailing.
