3h Whale Watching Catamaran in Costa Adeje

This one of the best whales and dolphins watching excursions in Tenerife. Do not miss this 3 hour excursion around Costa Adeje area. The Catmaran will sail looking for whales and dolphins in the area of Costa Adeje.

Description

3h Whale Watching Excursion in Costa Adeje

The 3-hour catamaran boat sails every day, searching for whales and dolphins in the coastal area of Costa Adeje. On this Dolphin and Whale watching Tour, the catamaran crew will inform you about the characteristics of the cetacean species in their natural environment. You’ll learn about their species, food migrations etc. After observing the cetaceans, you can relax, sunbathe, or take a swim in the warm Atlantic Ocean. Finally return to Puerto Colon.

You’ll almost certainly get to see pilot whales on your boat trip. They inhabit the warm waters around the boat, maximising the likelihood that you’ll spot them. You may even get lucky and spot some bigger whales, dolphins, or turtles too.

Please note: Sunbeds are extra and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sunbeds 7.50 euro per person on 3H trip  (however, they are double beds and they can not be separated, therefore 15€ per bed which is a double bed)

Adult (13 years old and above): €47

Child (5-12 years old): €23.50

A fantastic boat trip out to see whales We were interested in taking some excursions but didn’t really know what we wanted. Daniel went through options thoroughly ggwithout being pushy and we settled on a whale and dolphin boat trip. It was a wonderful experience. Just 9 of us on the boat in total. We saw whales and sea turtles and then stopped for a swim near a lovely little beach. A perfect addition to any holiday and definitely worth every penny.

Thanks to everyone for a great experience, my son had never been on a boat before and the team made him feel completely at ease, during our trip to watch dolphins. We can’t praise you enough for making our holiday extra special with your kindness.

Perfect service. Helpful in recommending activities and sorting them out at a great price. Quad Biking up Mount Teide at sunset was an incredible experience and one we wouldn't have done if not for Daniels' recommendation. Fantastic people and service.

Memories for a lifetime with Night Skies Tenerife Night Skies Tenerife gave us the most amazing experience on Tenerife! You get so much more with this tour than you’d think from the Trip Advisor explanation - least of not is the energy of Craig and the knowledge of Kieran. Between dinner and star gazing we saw an amazing sunset over La Palma from the Corona forest, complete with Cava and photographs by Craig. Craig helped us learn all about the island on the way to the sunset spot and to the star gazing spot, which my husband and I loved. Once we arrived for star gazing, Kieran helped us learn all about our solar system, the life cycle of stars, and the constellations while allowing us to see what he was teaching through the microscope (we even got to see two deep space galaxies!)Do not miss this experience when you’re on the island, but do specifically book Night Skies. Their service and knowledge (including giving you the photos they take for free and not charging for them at the end of the night) cannot be beat.Thank you for adding this amazing experience to our honeymoon Kieran, Craig, and the full night skies crew!

Fabulous We had the best afternoon after Ross in the Los Cristianos branch persuaded us to take the 3 hour all inclusive yacht charter to see the whales and dolphins. The skipper was really informative and friendly and made the whole afternoon a great experience! We saw some pilot whales really close to us in the water which was a great bonus! Thanks Ross for recommending this it was well worth it!

Buggy ride Went on the off road buggy experience and it was awesome 😀 very dusty as you're on dirt tracks but an amazing thrill. You have to drive on the roads to get there, then blast around the dirt tracks before driving around Las Americas on your way back to base. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age (I'm 55!) And not expensive either 😍

Amazing experience We went at 9:30 since we heard that the animals are more active earlier in the day. The tour was almost private, there were five of us in total, including the captain which was very knowledge and nice. We had been sailing for probably 20 minutes when we saw some bottlenose dolphins and one of them even came up to the boat. As we continued we spotted a turtle but it disappeared rather quickly. Then we sailed to a known pilot whales area where we stopped for a while and spotted around 10 whales. Finally we sailed to a bay, on our way there we saw some more dolphins. There we stopped for drinks and sandwiches, stayed there for 30 minutes and then returned back, very happy with the amount of animals spotted.Side note: even though it's warm outside, make sure to bring something warm with you because it gets cold when sailing.
