Description

4 Hour Catamaran from Puerto Rico

Your 4-hour catamaran excursion departs from Puerto Base, located in the popular resort of Puerto Rico in the south of Gran Canaria.

For your convenience, transfers are included in the price from many tourist areas along the south coast, from Puerto de Mogán to Bahía Feliz. Alternatively, you may choose to make your own way to the harbour and meet directly at Puerto Base.

Step aboard a brand-new, modern catamaran designed for comfort and relaxation as you cruise along the island’s spectacular southwest coastline. During the excursion, the boat sails past the impressive Caves of Veneguera, a dramatic volcanic coastline known for its rugged cliffs and natural sea caves carved by the Atlantic. The catamaran will then anchor in the beautiful bay of Tiritaña Beach, a peaceful and unspoiled spot only accessible by boat, famous for its crystal-clear waters and tranquil atmosphere.

Once anchored, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the sea. Take a refreshing swim, explore the underwater world with the snorkeling equipment provided, or relax and sunbathe on the floating solarium. The spacious deck also offers the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the stunning coastal scenery.

During the stop, a delicious lunch will be served on board. The menu includes traditional Paella, fresh salad, Papas arrugadas with mojo sauce, and seasonal fruit. Drinks are included throughout the excursion, with beer, cava, soft drinks, and water available while you relax and enjoy the experience.

After a memorable time swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings, the catamaran returns to Puerto Rico. If you selected the transfer option, you will then be taken back to your designated drop-off point near your accommodation, leaving you with fantastic memories of a relaxing day at sea in Gran Canaria.

Richie the gem First of all I would like to clarify that I have never met such a kind gentleman ever, we had explained that one our kids is on the autism spectrum and Richie could not have gone above and beyond more to help us choose our tours, he had constantly kept in touch throughout our holiday via WhatsApp to see if we were all ok and that everything had gone smoothly, one morning we had a hic up and I had to call Richie via WhatsApp and even tho it was his day off he done everything to sort it out, this happened more than just once by the way, I cannot thank him enough for making us feel at ease and helping us with everything. Your a true gentleman Richie and there should be more people in the world like you 😊 when we come back hopefully we get to deal with you again😊 Thank you for everything Irish tracey & Portuguese Monica ☺️💙

A must do excursion Very enjoyable experience. The boat was spacious with only 15 passengers and everything was well managed. There was plenty to drink and the food was better than the usual snacks offered. We saw lots of pilot whales and had a great swim in the sea in a little cove where we ate. The captain was fun and attentive . The boat also has a blue license that allows it to track the whales unlike many other operators. Would definitely do the trip again and would definitely recommend.

They were agile with us as well - we changed our mind and they were very nice. The team was incredible especially Maddie. I do recommend them highly

Amazing experience We went at 9:30 since we heard that the animals are more active earlier in the day. The tour was almost private, there were five of us in total, including the captain which was very knowledge and nice. We had been sailing for probably 20 minutes when we saw some bottlenose dolphins and one of them even came up to the boat. As we continued we spotted a turtle but it disappeared rather quickly. Then we sailed to a known pilot whales area where we stopped for a while and spotted around 10 whales. Finally we sailed to a bay, on our way there we saw some more dolphins. There we stopped for drinks and sandwiches, stayed there for 30 minutes and then returned back, very happy with the amount of animals spotted.Side note: even though it's warm outside, make sure to bring something warm with you because it gets cold when sailing.
