Description

4 Hour Catamaran from Puerto Rico

Your 4-hour catamaran excursion departs from Puerto Base, located in the popular resort of Puerto Rico in the south of Gran Canaria.

For your convenience, transfers are included in the price from many tourist areas along the south coast, from Puerto de Mogán to Bahía Feliz. Alternatively, you may choose to make your own way to the harbour and meet directly at Puerto Base.

Step aboard a brand-new, modern catamaran designed for comfort and relaxation as you cruise along the island’s spectacular southwest coastline. During the excursion, the boat sails past the impressive Caves of Veneguera, a dramatic volcanic coastline known for its rugged cliffs and natural sea caves carved by the Atlantic. The catamaran will then anchor in the beautiful bay of Tiritaña Beach, a peaceful and unspoiled spot only accessible by boat, famous for its crystal-clear waters and tranquil atmosphere.

Once anchored, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the sea. Take a refreshing swim, explore the underwater world with the snorkeling equipment provided, or relax and sunbathe on the floating solarium. The spacious deck also offers the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the stunning coastal scenery.

During the stop, a delicious lunch will be served on board. The menu includes traditional Paella, fresh salad, Papas arrugadas with mojo sauce, and seasonal fruit. Drinks are included throughout the excursion, with beer, cava, soft drinks, and water available while you relax and enjoy the experience.

After a memorable time swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings, the catamaran returns to Puerto Rico. If you selected the transfer option, you will then be taken back to your designated drop-off point near your accommodation, leaving you with fantastic memories of a relaxing day at sea in Gran Canaria.

Great Boat, Great Day and Great Captain. We had a brilliant afternoon as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 and 15. The boat is fab and as they limit the amount of people to 15 or 16, there is loads of room to have your own space. Our trip was full but as you can see from the photo it almost looks empty which to us eas the appeal and therefore don’t mind paying a bit extra. Drinks were free flowing and you could help yourself from the cooler. Lunch was also very tasty. The Captain was great fun, very knowledgeable and made sure we were looked after. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Fun family day out on a catamaran Boat was huge and plenty of space to move around . Staff are so considerate and try to find Dolphins via radar and calling all other boats . They make sure you really do get to see a pod of dolphins or whales !

Birthday Trip We took a walk along the beach one morning and happened to pass by your shop, where we were greeted by the charming young man, Daniel. We mentioned that we were interested in a boat trip to see whales and dolphins, as it was my husband's 60th birthday, and he recommended the 'Freebird' boat trip. He offered us the option of a 4.5-hour trip, but we chose the shorter 3-hour one, which was perfect for us. The trip was fantastic – it included a meal, a swim stop, and, most importantly, we did see whales! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely recommend your company, especially Daniel, who was so helpful. We also met his partner, who was working as the receptionist at the hotel where we stayed – she was lovely as well. Thank you for making our day so special!"

Really helpful Many hanks to Sarah who helped us with this trip. We needed a calm boat due to recent surgery so she suggested the catamaran. We plumped for the 4.5hr trip and were not disappointed. She also told us how to get there and back and where to get taxis and buses from as we were too late for their transport, but it wasn’t a problem. The trip itself was great. Beautiful scenery, pilot whales, dolphins and flying fish and a chance to swim in the sea.
